I recently got myself an iPad Pro 10.5" to create some digital drawing/painting and for music production. Here is my first painting using a free app called Sketches, I used the Apple Pencil which is just superb for creating natural drawing techniques. I'm waiting for the new version of Procreate to come out as this is the best drawing/painting app for iPad Pro.

Today's abstract painting on A2 canvas. I masked off the middle band and did the background with brushes. Then re-masked and used palette knife to create the band with a touch of metallic paint so there is a gloss sheen when catches the light. Finished with white splatter effect. Happy with the way it turned out.  Created this today on 40x40cm box canvas. 3 brushes and palette knife used. I blended background and let that dry then built up tree from light to dark colours, finishing off with tree trunk and falling leaves. Pleased with how this turned out.  |
