I picked up an old manual focus 70-210mm zoom lens on eBay for my Fuiji. I have an adaptor that allows me to use any Pentax PK fit lens. Great way to to save money on lenses you don't use as much, plus these old lenses are better made as mostly metal and made in Japan not China.
Decided to get a new ball-head tripod/monopod to use with Fuji.
Great build quality and small size when closed, easy to put in backpack.
Easy to convert to a monopod by simply unscrewing a few pieces and joining together.
Check out on Amazon for more details or to purchase.

I have recently purchased a Fujifilm X-T1 SLR camera. This is one of the new mirrorless camera's that a lot of pro's are switching over to as they are smaller and lighter. The image and build quality is superb and the Fuji FX 18-55mm lens is excellent. Looking forward to testing it out and will post some images soon.
Got some new Analog film effect filters for Luminar software, created some cool effects with texture overlays.
Check out the new Retouching page under Photography on my website. These are created using Adobe Lightroom and Luminar a new programme from Macphun.
Gullane Golf Course
Check out the new Black & White Photography page on my website. I'm doing a series of shoots around East Lothian and converting to dramatic B&W images using Lightroom.
I am trying out new software from Macphun called Luminar. It's like a cross between Lightroom and Photoshop with presets and adjustment layers. Very powerful as you can see from this NY skyline before and after.
Got myself a new Samsung S7 edge phone and took some RAW photos on trip to Newcastle.
Edited in Lightroom as usual with various filters added. Not bad quality for phone!
Alnmouth River with tide out.
