My latest video is a review of the Presonus Eris 3.5 Bluetooth Studio Monitors, these are a great pair of monitors for the money and sound fantastic. They look good and are very easy to pair using BT, you can also connect via RCA or TRS cables. I would defiinitely recommend the Bluetooth version of these speakers and only cost £110 from scan.co.uk

My latest video is an unboxing and quick review of the Marantz Pod Pack 1 USB mic and stand.
I live recorded an audio track into Logic Pro X and have not applied any effects or made enhancements to audio. My first impressions are that this is a great mic for what I'm doing and at a great price. Its a well made mic and stand and very easy to set up with just the USB cable. Would definitely recommend this mic for YouTube videos, Podcasts or voice overs. I created this Movie intro using Pixabay clips comped together in iMovie and then exported to Logic Pro X to score a soundtrack. I used Arturia Analog Lab plug-in along with some Apple loops and sound effects. I am enjoying creating this kind of music+video work and learning about film scoring.

You can view the final video on my YouTube channel at David Thom Creations. This is my entry for the Spitfire Audio Westworld Scoring Competition that is open for anyone to enter. It's an original score for a clip from Season 3 Episode 5 of Westworld.
#westworldscoringcompetition2020 It was created using Logic Pro X and the BBC Symphony Orchestra Discovery and Arturia Analog Lite plug-ins plus some Apple loops. If you are interested to see how this was put together let me know in the comments and I will do a video. I hope you like my version which is very different from the original score which featured Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries. This is a full walk-through video that shows exactly how the 'ISOLATION' trailer was put together and exported final movie file. Here are the links to all the sites mentioned in video.
This video is a idea for a movie trailer called ISOLATION. It was created using video clips from Pixabay using iMovie and then the music was added with Logic Pro X.
There is a full walk-through video that shows exactly how each element was put together and exporting the final trailer. It features B&W photo converting and retouching in Luminar 3. I also create some colourized versions as well using Cross-processing and Split Toning effects.
This latest video is about comparing the Canon 5d and Canon 700d DSLR cameras. I took some photos at Yellowcraigs Beach near Gullane, East Lothian and took them into Luminar 3 for a look at how ther compared in image quality and 'before and after' retouching.
